Results from Changing out Phenolic Tip

Hi Spiderwebcom
Thanks for the input. this is how I am getting my answers that is for sure and I appreicate it. :)

Yeah, I first thought and still do a little on subjectivity testing. (I am an engineer for 22 years and a degree in psychology)

That is why I said "personal tests" and "personal conclusion". :)

Having said that, I turned to testing the Samsara after reading Mdavis228 and talking once or twice with him via PM. I then talked to the wholesaler that also sells WB and other tips as well, and the words I continuously got were "you will see, feel and hear the difference".

Ask anyone that knows me, I am such a non-believer of hype (mostly becuase of my 22 years of background), that I just took the samsara statement with a grain of salt.

50 breaks each on different days and 4 different tips starts to dilute the the thought that "All tips are the same". You won't get an argument from me that "other people" might just as well pickup a "dog leg right bar cue" and break better than I but again my "personal results" (without pursuing statistical standard deviations, means, medians, and confidence level testing :) ) proved at least to me and my shooting, that this tip "hands down" is the way to go.

At least this gives some input on what other tips to try out. Personally I was not impressed with the WB tip. Oh well

Just a thought though. I purchased a "nice scorpion cue in January and requested to send it back to the vendor 5 days later. I saw that cue vibrate like a tuning fork on every stroke. The vendor was very surprised but still honored his policy. I purchased a McDermott and first hit of the CB told me I found my match (well almost.. I replaced the shaft with a 314 second edition) So I guess one can say, "Different strokes for different folks" I had to put that in..

Regardless, I luv the input and it keeps us honest. :):):)

You're right. The bottom line is regardless of your technique, all that matters is what feels best for you. :) Good post.
