Congrats to Pod for winning the 1st event. That along with him coming in 2nd 2 weeks ago @ Strokers in London where he played as an 8 in a field of 42 guys. His game sure has gotten good, almost as good as his brother Harvey who doesn;t give him weight any more.

I guess researching certain players are not required on this tour.If this guy is considered just a beginner then a whole lot of guys should be able to play in this event.I can't play on this tour but if we played each other on the 404 we would play even.Go figure!:banghead:

JACCS & DIAMOND TOUR’S SINCERE APOLOGY

JACCS would like to make a public apology to all who participated in the Diamond Tour’s first event in Barrie and also to Pahdahsung Shognosh.

Our rules state that if there are not enough juniors to have their own event, they are allowed to play in the amateur level and juniors may only collect prizes or RSP’s if they reach a prize round. The mistake JACCS made was allowing Pahdahsung Shognosh to play unaware that he had turned 19 and was no longer a junior. The Tournament Director and JACCS have reviewed his level play as a non-junior and have decided that he is not eligible to play in the Diamond Amateur Tour.

We have contacted Pahdahsung Shognosh to inform him of the decision that he cannot play in any of upcoming events including the final event.

Director comments:

We are a small group of people who have a dream of building an association only for juniors and Grass root players. Mistakes will be kept to a minimum we hope and we ask that players have patience while we iron out rules, formats, who can play, who can’t play, etc. If you do that for us, we will continue to build this tour into the success that it is destined to be.

To the players who will continue, no matter what we do, to say negative comments about the tour, I am truly sorry for you. People who like to demolish can never build and The Diamond Tour is only looking for builders.

Please read the apology above posted by me on behalf of Sue Lemaich, it does explain everything I believe.

Oh! And everyone on the directors list other then the TD knows me. (Sue, Tasha, Tracy, Grace not so much, Donny) So they should know that I should be eligible without having to ask my league operator to call/email to get me in.
