Results: Southern Billiards Tournament

It looked like George was going to take it all but Brian caught fire in the final set. He was possessed and could do no wrong. Lil Sam (and he really ain't that little) can hold his head up with a third. He damn near took George down in the semi. It was a great weekend of pool hosted by the fine folks at Southern Billiards. I was proud to get to meet many of the good people I converse with on the 'boards'.

Any idea of the payouts? How much and how far down? Total number of players? Also Brian was listed to play in the ring game yet didnt but played in the tourney.Any idea why? Thanks

Tony, I don't know the payouts as yet. I think I know why Brian didn't play in the Ring Game but I have to check with the Professor to be sure and he might still be asleep. He was up for 3 days. On the natural no less. Don't ask me. I couldn't do 3 days on the natural 30 years ago. I will post when I find out.
 
brian didnt play in the ring game because i was staking brian and denver and with only 3 other players i couldnt(horrible money odds) put both in

Thanks guys for clearing it up.Makes perfect sense.Cant have your own money chasing it self.Like a dog chasing its own tail.lol
 
I played in a friendly poker game with the missus and me and some friends.And she didnt understand my frustrations with us having half the money in the game.maybe this will help shed some light.lol

Hello all this is the Mrs. and i read the post. I understand what you ae saying but dang i can't help it i was lucky that night and got good cards in my first poker game NOT ON THE INTERNET,lol
But the next night we played again but it was with anther couple so it was 50/50. Hubby and i busted the other couple thank goodness cause lord knows it wouldn't have been pretty if we had lost,lol
