hi guys,

am heading to New York tomorrow and have the whole of tuesday free...

are there any retail pool stores i can go hang out at and look for some dvd's or books ?

will be staying in this area:
442 East 20th street, 10009 NY

any input would be much appreciated.

If you go to Blatt Billiards, maybe you can get an update on when the 3rd Billiard Encyclopedia will be ship/mail?
 
Blatt Billiards should be close to where you are staying. I know Amsterdam Billiards is at 11th st between 4th and 5th ave. Blatt is only a couple of blocks away from there.

Hey- that's still two hours shorter than the flight from Bangkok to NY.:wink:

It's all about getting your mind set right (a Xanax or two doesn't hurt either).
 
Blatt Billiards is a mueseum of pool stuff - that's the only place I'd want to go to browse pool stuff. As an aside I THINK that they have an ongoing exhibition of pool memorabilia somewhere in Manhattan. Blatt is sponsoring it so they ought to know where that is located.
