Reversing motor on Midsize Hightower

Hello,
Does anybody know how to reverse the motor on a mid size hightower lathe. There is a sticker with some brief instructions on it but I must be doing something wrong since it is not working for me.

on mine you just unplug the connector between the rotory switch and the motor and turn it 180 degrees plug it back in.
reverses polarity

Tony, I am sorry and I certainly do not have any experience with Hightower Lathes, but are you saying they do not have a switch for forward, neutral and reverse?

It's an additional option when you buy the lathe.

I was not given that option. There is a reverse option but I can't get it to work.
