I had Troy make a set of 3/8 x 10 joint protectors for a house cue conversion done by Chad of Cam Custom Cues. I was very impressed with the wood combinations Troy chose for the set. Birdseye maple with Phenolic rings on bottom and an Ebony iris with a Hollywood pupil on top. The overall rounded style put this set over and above my expectations.

Wow those are really nice!!I was on the fence about getting a set for my Schon and those are super sweet!Excellent work.Did you just send him a nice pic of of your cue?How long did they take to get?I like the way he shaped them very unique.:thumbup:

As it turned out he was able to have my cue for this set. But i'm sure he would be able to work off a picture and some good measurements though. I was able to get them in about three days which was nice. :thumbup:
