Review on my Tony ZINZOLA cue

Hi folks,

I received a Tony Zinzola cue as my christmas present. I still couldn't believe that i can own a Zinzola cue and i'm so proud of it. Surprisingly, the number of the cue is my favourite number----double5. Here is my review of the cue:
  • The inlays are top excellent work. There are more than 400 inlays in this cue and all white are ivory except the veneers.
  • The veneers work from Tony are really really beautiful like what everyone says. It's even more beautiful seeing it in person than in the pictures.
  • The Shafts are superb. The wood of the shaft are in top-notch.

The playability:
The shaft has a stiff hit with very little deflection. This my first time playing/holding such a heavy cue (more than 19 oz). My first impression on this cue was that it's really heavy:eek:. It's about 19,5 oz but it seems like it's 21 oz. However while i'm playing with it, it didn't feel heavy at all. The balance of this cue is more than perfect for me.
The cue delivers a crisp and fairly stiff hit but it's easily controlled and gives good feedback.

Although hit is subjective, this cue match with my playing-style.
This cue is very easy to adapt, definitely looking forward to logging some more time with this cue.

Tony Zinzola has my highest recommendation for any player seeking a cost-effective, great playing custom cue. he always try his level best to make the customers satisfied.

My game has definitely improved since i got this cue.
Thanks alot Tony and i wish you continued success with your custom cues.

congrats jans

i think this cue is my favorites of tony's.

you've definitely gotta special one there, because there's not that many cues that have THAT many inlays.

Yes i agree with you Chris . Your cue from Tony in your avatar is looking great too

bump for a great review and killer cue....

Thanks Mickey for the kind word. This is my daily playing cue. It's actually too beautiful for a daily playing-cue.
Your new cue from Tony is also really nice. Please tell us more about your new PH cored one.

well let me tell you this....in the past i have had an piloted ivory jointed cue that i couldnt stand the way it played just to "sponge"....this cue is diffrent....it still has the great look and the play that i am use to..the ph must give it a firmer hit which i like....almost like a wood to wood cue..and that big radial pin dont hurt any also:smile:.....tonys radial pins cues are my favorite hitting cue that i have owned....the only cue i liked more was a searing conversion that was wood to wood...i wish that cue was mine but o well.....one day i am going to get a searing but until then i am super happy with my zinzolas.......mickey

Well, it's got fleur de lis inlays, so it's already a winner in my book!!

Beautiful cue, and congratulations to you!!

It must have a great hit. The PH wood is a hard wood and the combination with the ivory joint will definitely give you a really nice feeling. You're really lucky to own this one.

Great looking cue!!

Loved this cue when it was first posted, and it is a looker. Gotta love those fleur de lis inlays, and the veneer colors are also very nice.

Congrats on the pickup - it is a beauty.

Gotta try a Zinzola sometime in the future, but currently I am a full of cues.

Thanks for sharing, and welcome to AZB.
