If Predator came out with the Revo 2, what changes do you think they will make? A separate question could be, what changes do you think they should make?

Whatever they do they should work on the sound. I like the way they play but they sound strange compared to all the others on the market especially the Cuetec. Thats the main reason I won't play with one. I also like the idea of a fatter one, maybe 13mm.

12.9 is pretty damn close lol. Not sure what else could be done, they seem quite perfect. Unless you want carbon plated tips that screw on.

12.75mm OD
They are the Forrest Gump of shaft sizing. You never know what you are going to get.

I bought two 12.4 revos measuring 12.5 exactly. I was using 12.5 and was going to settle with 12.4. I'm happy with my size shafts on those revos.

I have a BK rush Revo Measuring exactly 12.9mm what is specked.

I've bought wooden six shafts over the years ranging from 13mm to 12.5 when specked at 12.75.

I know i'm a picky A hole, but i know some people that are WAY worse then me. You sell 12.75 make sure it leaves at 12.75

probably something with a thought provoking name and some mystical qualities to get people chasing the revo 2 train.

its all about marketing and selling

Yep. they're not gonna make a shaft that's just .1mm bigger. You know how small a diff. that is? Most people couldn't tell. Great shaft other than that 'ping' sound.

I've measured 8 total 12.4's so far and they all came out to be 12.49(3)/12.5(5) so I assume that's what it's supposed to be. My revo is 12.5. Someone told me they are supposed to be 12.49 that way they can market them at 12.4. He does know people there and after measuring numerous different ones over the last couple years I believe it. Just have to have a calipers that is more precise in measurements vs just getting a 12.4/12.5 reading. Next digit would be a 9 for most in the 12.4 camp if calipers are capable but it's so minor nobody cares. It was just curiosity for me. I wouldn't mind a 12.7 revo that really is 12.7 lol. Never had any strange sound either so maybe I got lucky.

I would like to see more of a Pro taper as opposed to their gradual conical taper. I would leave everything else alone.

My two playing shafts have no sound, my break cue does have a sound. I'm assuming the tips on that on my playing cues have super soft tips and the break cue has a hard tip on it is creating the ping we all love to hate. Most people use a Medium up

I would figure that since they are advertising it as 12.4 i would expect it to be exactly 12.4 but the added .09 is a sneaky sneaky. Personally I'm happy with my 12.5 shaft.

I've had a ton of wooden shafts and not a single one of them ever was 12.75. I really didn't care since i was cutting them down to 12.5

Just got one for my playing cue. Like it so far, definitely notice the difference in deflection compared to my standard shafts. I have no performance complaints really, the sound and feel is different but I don't mind it at all and didn't really expect a carbon shaft to feel like my maple shafts.

The one thing I really want to see someone offer is customizable joints. Start the carbon after an inch or so of wood or some other base that can be modified in diameter and joint ring design so shafts can be custom matched to cues. I got the 5/16x14 Revo that measure .840 but I'm using it on my Runde cue which is .830. It's actually closer than I expected it to be, maybe my shaft falls on the smaller side of the tolerance range. It doesn't bother me when playing but it would be nice if I could get it in a perfect match and it's definitely the one downside to carbon shafts.

I have the notes because I found this interesting a couple years ago. At least 4 were 3/8 X 10 whether that makes any difference I don't know. The others were all different joints. I wish I could have weighed each one lol. The 3 I did weigh were all 4oz so consistent on that end. You are correct on wood. More likely it's easier to get to the exact spec.

My two shafts are exactly 12.5mm and weigh 3.9 ounces. I'm quite happy that i have shafts that match. I swap shafts each week.
