I had a local cuemaker make me a 3/8 x 10 to Uniloc joint converter out of light wood and aluminum pin.

Stuck that on a McDermott Lucky butt, had a good hit feel, nice balance, helped me with reach at the same time.

It seems that quite a few of the McD Lucky cues have a design that will work well with the black shafts.

I am actually considering buying 2-3-4 of those cues to keep around to use as I feel like changing designs.

L22 looks like a very nice match to a Revo. Sure it's stickers but the point of this setup is to get the Revo shaft on a cue for cheap with good hit feel.

Yeah, you are right. Some of those butts look to be a good match. L73 paired with a Revo would be a fun combination, IMO.
