Reward for stolen cues!!!

Just fielding opinions on whether a thread posted offering a reward for the return of a cue on a deal gone sour (trade or cash) has ever been successful. I can understand that it could open up a ugly can of worms in regard to false claims and disputes, however if someone's been outright cheated would it make sense to put up a reward for the cue's return? maybe a bonus for # of fingers broken? JK:wink:

I've had one - I had a cue stolen from me and wind up 7 states away. A local guy there whom I knew tracked it down for me and recovered it at a local pool hall.

Since he went out of his way to get this cue back, I sold it to him for 40% of what it's worth.
