All are in at least 720P and some have 2 camera. These are BEGINNER productions and done solely for the love of the game and to offer archived examples of their spectacular talent.

I sincerely apologize if my commentary lacks professionalism or involves too many wows. I'm just [that] much a fan of these guys.

Coming soon are subsequent matches of Orcollo playing TWO races to 15 against the ghost as well as of Pagulayan.

I'm all for constructive criticism - but please understand that these have cost me thousands and with no intention of recouping any of it aside from the joy of contributing. That said, I'll hope that the emphasis is on constructive.

Thanks,

TrumanHW

You're all very welcome. I look forward to consistently improving the quality of the color, the second camera, and definitely of my commentary. I already have a lot of ideas of how to make it less annoying for you guys... such as speaking less, wowing less, etc. :)

I haven't watched all of them to conclusion but will definately come back to them when time allows. Absolutely no apologies necessary. I thought they were just fine. I do appreciate your dedication in terms of embracing a continual improvement approach ... very professional. Thanks for sharing ... great job, Truman.

the qaulity is awesome! thanks for puttin the work into these, would love to see more.

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching the couple I've had time for. I would like to see you post stats as well but some people might prefer not to know that in advance.

thx,
Craig

what is the bet...how much is Alcano playing the ghost for....i have only watched the first three racks and he is playing worse then me...i think i would have done better...i hope it gets better

Truman, keep up the good work, you're providing a great service to the pool community with these. What sort of gear setup have you got going for taking these / editing workflow?

Thanks, Truman. You have a gift for commentating, and the video quality and audio is perfect. Would love to see more of these.

I watched the whole set of Alcano playing the 10 ball ghost did he have to get to 10 before the ghost got to 15...he is a great player for sure, but i wasnt that impressed with his position play, i feel like he played some of the shots the wrong way,but i guess there is no wrong way if you get the job done, and that was an awfully tight table

Sorry for the spoiler ... but he was down 14 - 10 and had to win 5 in a row...... and DID. It was awesome.

Thanks to everyone for the positive remarks. I'd have LOVED to have had the big lighting rig thats over table 1 for this, but, that table is so damned tight that no one wants to play on it.

This month I hope to get the Pagulayan and the Orcollo (which are complete but just need a little post work done) posted.

As far as gear, we use a Zoom 4ch, which are great for audio quality. Some audio technica headsets, a 24Mb/s Canon video camera and a Nikon D800 for second camera. Yes, I realize the D800 has an amazing sensor, but that ***** of a camera will shut itself off around the 30 min. mark...

What I really need is a large screen to preview the video so I can focus the sharpness and correct the color; doing it on a 3" screen is very very difficult to do accurately.

I own a computer company (we fix liquid damaged macs and sell any and all macbook (air, pro, you name it) ... so my employees are pretty technical people which has help tremendously.

Ah - and Shmidt said he'd be willing to do a race to 50 against the ghost, but not at hard times. He doesn't like their tables.... if anyone has his current phone number PM me it please.

Thanks

I watched the first two racks of Reyes vs. the rotation ghost so far. The first rack was astonishing. I learned some new moves.

I edit video for pleasure. If I had these I would have a score pop up with what the race was to and the bet.

Thx for these, Boss!

Yeah, we talked about doing that but we'd already worked on that video (two cameras is a PITA) and we were going to go through and add them... but I really could do that with youtube annotations. :-o

If you go through annotations for the scoreboard, please put in the notes that is what you are doing. I typically have annotations turned off because quite a few videos use them like ads, and I'm sure I am not the only one. :)

P.S. nice videos!

These are so good... they really helped me understand just how difficult it is to beat the ghost over 10 balls (and ten balls is already out of reach for most of us). No criticisms, this is awesome and I thank you for making them downloadable. I notice they seem to be getting sharper and nicer looking than the earlier ones. Excellent.

Ever so slightly under 4". I've measured them personally. They are TIGHT. And this is at night time when the chalk on table 6 is at is peak... the humidity is high (often, when I leave Bellflower after midnight there will be a little bit of fog) and the AC is rarely run at night ... so you'll see people sweating when they play. The CB is all scratched up which makes it great at holding dirt/chalk etc., the ball boxes are carpeted so when the object balls come down they land in a box which has some chalk in it which, from landing in it, causes the balls to get chalky/dirty nearly instantly. After 1a or 2a there, soft follow shots make an audible hop sound because there's so much grab between the balls.

As a side note, I think carpet inside ball returns is a poor choice; a rubber matt keeps the balls a little cleaner and is easier to clean. No one remembers to clean the box. The new GC 5s' have a beautiful box.

You'll notice where he really gets going is where the layouts allow him to hit the balls in with a little greater amount of force... and that some of the shots he missed shooting hard you'd think he could slow roll -- but on this kind of equipment, cutting a ball with distance that you have to slow roll doesn't translate to high statistics.
