A respected player out of the Southern US mentioned today in a stream that there was an issue with Reyes G and a match in Florida involving police.
Has anyone else heard this. I don't want to post a ton of details in case the info isn't entirely correct, but the person who mentioned it is a stand up guy.

I‘ve read the same story on Facebook, but it’s Facebook so....
 
I was watching the live stream when it happened. They said police got a call about someone with a gun so they came in and the game he was in got broken up.

Sounds like a major shark. I thought half the people in Florida were carrying these days. Who gets upset about a gun unless somebody is waving it around?

most pool rooms serve alcohol
in florida
you cant carry a gun into a place where alcohol is served even with a concealed permit

The gist of it was a particular player who has been gambling on FB a lot with matches, was in a bad game and then the police come into the room and the game gets broken up.
Is that how you would classify it @CaleAYS

He was playing Jesus getting the 8-10 back pocket 10 ball from what I remember. He was losing. There was a lot of accusations thrown around but that’s for the people involved to deal with. I just know what I saw on the stream when it happened live.
 
He walked on two other matches that weekend, all seen on live stream. It was more stated it was his backers who are the ones behind the running and antics than him, but it's who he associates himself with so it's on him too.
 
His backers are scumbags & that is 100% facts. I have a few players who personally I would send to play him but refuse to because of the antics of his backers. I don't trust them & they will soon kill all his action.
 
Are you guys referring to Gomez or the other guy? Who has the scumbag backers? Were they at Racks? WTF?? Like a Abbott-Costello skit. ;) BTW, just WTF is 'back pocket' 10ball? Never heard of this. Sounds like some made-up gaff game.

I won't speak for anyone else. Personally I am talking about Reyes backers.

Same here in my state. Still a lot more people carrying in bars and pool halls than before concealed carry got common. Permit holders "forget" they are heeled. You can forget if you carry all of the time but most of the time it is a matter of convenience. If the gun is on you, you don't want to put it up in a vehicle in a parking lot, like putting a "rob me first" sign on your vehicle.

Always been guns in halls and between drunks playing with them and them falling and hitting a hard floor when not secured properly we had about a half dozen discharges in the span of as many years. Always an interesting few moments between the shot and waiting for any follow-up shots. If you can finish your run it is fair to call yourself sharkproof!(grin)

One bullet flew about a hundred feet and hit an electrical breaker box about six or eight feet from me. A little close for comfort!

When they shook down the people in a pool hall one night long ago one patron, I think it was Hubert Cokes, had three pistols on him. He explained he carried a lot of money in dangerous places!

A long Sunday evening ramble, slow night. However, just to back up my original statement, guns everywhere are too common to get out of shape about one unless it is accompanied by brandishing or threats. When I had an auto salvage and twenty-four hour wrecker service my pistol was just one of my tools.

actually in florida you cant carry in a licensed alcohol place in the area that primary serves alcohol.
you can in the business part that primarily serves food or other. just cant go into the bar area.
my guess is in the poolroom area if away from the bar you can, same as the restaurant area . even though you can order drinks there but it isnt the primary purpose of that area.
