Rhino has announced a new cue for 2024 called the Eclipse. Looks like a much nicer grip but limited joint configurations at this time. Also there appear to be only two tip sizes 12.4 and 12.8. Hopefully there might be more choices soon..

So you're basically paying 150bux for a butt. I'd just have Schmelke make a sneakypete butt for 50-60bux myself.

Composite butts - no thanks. I’m still a traditionalist with my butts, with the exception of my Propel CF butt, which makes sense for the stiffness and weight savings.

Got a note after asking Rhino some questions.

The Eclipse line does not come with a weight bolt system and is only available in one joint.

Any other joint is considered custom and is non returnable with a $25.00 fee for the different joint.

Niether does the Nebula cue, but the weight bolt kit only costs $4. Or, are you saying that the Eclipse cue doesn't allow you to install weight bolts?

They did not specify and I did not ask.

What good is the weight bolt kit if it can not be used in the Nebula or the Eclipse cues?

The questions comes with/ is compatible with can mean very different things, right?

The nebula is compatible with weight bolt kit.

Is be surprised if eclipse is any different, other than the outside.

Free opinion: worth every penny!

I got a note today that all shafts are on sale till Feb 4th, 15%off. All cues are 10%off same time frame.

Sale is for the Tet holiday.

All our Nam vets will think of one thing when they hear Tet.

Times have changed but that memory is etched in history forever.
