richard black 2000.00. joss west 3000.00. there is no logo on the JW
It's a little tricky, imo, listing the one cue as a Josswest. When you recently posted it in another thread on the Main Forum asking for help ID'ing it I said that I thought it had a Josswest vibe to it and I still do think so but that shouldn't be taken as a positive ID. The fact that it has no identifying logo or any other makers marking complicates it. If this is, in fact, a Josswest; it looks to me like it would be one of his early to mid 1990's models and those typically had his springy jw logo stamped on the buttcap but there is nothing on this one so then we are left to speculate on why no logo. Maybe the buttcap was damaged / changed, maybe it's not a Josswest, on and on and on.

It's a beautiful cue, I still think there is a good chance that it is one of Bill's cues. If it were me, I would find out who would be considered an authority on Josswest cues and I would have that person inspect the cue and if they feel it's one of Bill's cues they can provide you with a COA stating so and this could go a long way toward providing a measure of confidence to your potential buyers. Absent that, what you have is a cue for sale that looks like it could be a Josswest with no logo or any other identifying marks.

Your first cue is absolutely a Josswest.
I've had two cues over the years very similar to yours.
I currently own about 75 Josswest cues. We were very good friends, and I bought cues
from him for 50 years. I likely have sold twice as many as I now own.

I add this because this cue does not have the JW initials on it. This cue was built in a time span when Mr. Stroud elected to not do so. If you already know this then fine, if it is a deal breaker thanks for looking.

The cue will be insured for the sales price and requires signature upon delivery protecting both parties

I’m glad the pic of Hawaiian Brian was removed, it was certainly NOT Lee Boyar!

Thank you again for your response, I have quoted you on this forum and hope that is ok with you.

Here is what Will Prout had to say about the Joss West I am selling...

just to be clear, the Josswest just went up to $3500?
I listed for that on EBAY because of their crazy price they charge...I would sell for $3000 on here so long as there are no crazy charges i do not know about...the good thing is Will Prouts endorsement...As I said I am new to this and obviously have made mistakes in this process...
