I commissioned this cue with Richard Black at the Chattanooga cue show in October. Richard said he already had well seasoned Gaboon Ebony turned to size he could use (as one expect from a cuemeaker that has been at it as long as Richard).

We sat down and designed the cue together. Richard named the cue ”Dante” after
the thirteenth century Italian poet, whom he is a fan. Richard worked on this cue exclusively for the last two months.

We were striving for simple elegance in this cue, and I believe the design delivered just that.

Elegant, refined and exactly what one would expect from the master.
I remember seeing it in progress and was very impressed (as I am with most of RB's work).
Btw, great cue hope you enjoy it!
