I have a limited edition Richard Black Helmet cue. It is signed by Richard Black dated '92 and is numbered 2/150. The Helmet inlay is ivory. It has a brown speckled irish linen wrap. Rolls straight apart and together. Please NOTE the shaft has a couple surface marks in the finish close to the joint. ALSO the finish above the wrap on the butt has some surface cracks. I had called Mr. Black and he quoted between 100-150 to refinish depending on type of new wrap; that was last year and I never followed up. This cue has a little bit of a write up on pages 175-176 of the 3rd Ed Blue Book.
Specs: 59" Butt is 16.3 OZ, shaft is 3.8 oz. Tip is layered leather, ferrule appears to be ivory but I am not certain. Pilotted 5/16 X 14 joint.
Whitten 1X2 case has RB initials on cover and is in brand new condition, no chalk marks at all, not even a slight blemish or mark at all. I do not have the spacers or rod. Cue fits in case perfectly with the JPs which are included. Case is spring loaded and the shaft has free mobility.
