Just wondering what a Richard Black Helmet Cue is going for in today's market.

Cue was made in 1992-signed and dated.

Very good condition with one shaft.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks - Tommyd1

Hard to say in this crazy market, but they used to be in high demand! I wanted one soooo bad in the early 90's!!!!

Maybe $750 to $1,500 depending on variables. Of course I realize that is of little help ;)

It's kind of hard to say without pictures or a better description. There were 150 cues made in whats known as the 1992 Helmet Series. Some were very plain, with no inlays & no veneers on the points, while others I've seen were downright fancy & loaded with inlays. The ones I've seen sold have gone in the $850-$1500 range.

The Cue dosen't have any inlays except for the helmet in the butt.

Does have veneers like in most of Richards cues, white and green spec linen wrap.

Sorry I can't get any pictures.

Thanks for your help, cue is in very good played condition.

Going off that, you're probably looking at around $1000-$1300 with one shaft. Less if both pieces aren't straight.

I've had a bunch of Richard's cues. I've seen those like your describing usually go for around 1000.00 in nice shape.

I wish I could buy a straight Helmet cue with veneers for $1000 or less. Never seen one sell that low since I've been collecting.
