This cue was made in 1991. I am the second owner and the original owner is a friend of mine who did not shoot with this cue. I am the only one who has shot with it and it is in pristine condition.I bought this cue in January 2013. It is straight together and apart. All white is ivory , snakewood and silver inlays.I was there when my friend bought this cue and Richard said that he made one similar for Eva Mataya. I have upgraded the wrap to a new old stock Cortland wrap from Pechauer cues.I would love to trade up or down and will sell it for $2999.00 shipped in the US only.Add 4% for paypal fees. Please read the letter of authenticity for other facts about this cue.Shafts weigh 3.5 oz and the butt weighs 16.7 oz. Cue is 58 inches equal split.
This is a email from Richard . As I have stated. There has been nothing done to this cue except the added Cortland wrap. This cue is pristine, 100 percent as delivered from Richard with LOA, Richard made the cue , sold it to my friend, whose name is on the LOA to verify everything.I bought the cue and am the only one to shoot with it.
Glen,
yes the butt screw is hex but a very soft aluminum that strips the corners very easy. It makes the cue as light as you’re going to get it – but if you want it heavier then you can go ahead and change it. It will probably be necessary to use and easy-out and then replace the butt screw with a steel one. You can add as much as 1 ounce with a steel butt screw. BTW your photos were not attached but I remember the cue.
