I have to opportunity to purchase a Richard black cue custom made for Jerry Briesath. They are wanting $3100 for it, but I'm not going to go anywhere near that. Will try to get pics of them but the model is a modify black baron. What do you think a good price is for it.
 
Blacks website is showing that a standard Black Baron is 2450. Unless they have really modified it or done something special to make it worth another 650 above a new one, 3100 sounds a bit high for a used cue. Especially when you can order one to your specs for less.
 
Did Jerry teach using it?

Any details on how long Jerry owned it or if he played with it or used it while teaching? I for one do think there is added monetary value to a collector that cares about the history of pool. Jerry is a icon to many and as a recent thread said, He needs to be in the HOF.
