Richard also opened a pool room in his back yard! Check it out!:)

If you are having trouble getting in contact with him (which I don't think you will), let me know. I talk/see him about 3 times a week.

I spoke to Richard yesterday about a pair of new shafts and joint protector for my ebony RH. Ask about putting in new order, he said he's tied up for a long while and it looks like he won't be able to take order until he's retired :). All I know is...hang on to your RH.

Not wanting to speak for Richard, but I don't see him taking orders anytime soon, possibly ever. Besides his commitments to his dealers, repair work and running his Cue Club after hours, he doesn't have a whole lot of time left. If you want a new cue, you'll probably have to get with one of his dealers.

I got a chance to talk to Richard. Super nice guy and unfortunately he is not taking orders like you said for a long time.
I have a cue that has very minor ding going thru finish and he will only repair it in the spring.
 
Bluegrass cue

I love bluegrass cues but why do they not seem to sell well on here if this is the case ??
 
Economy is bad, I sold my BEM for about $1150.00. One on ebay sold for $1050 and another for $850. There's 3-4 on here for sales...my ebony RH, Chady has a beautiful RH, and a stainless steel RH by Ken. I think Rack Em may still have his BEM available for sales for less than 1K. Great prices on all these RH but nobody has cash for these gem right now. Even SW is not moving on ebay or here. You have to basically sell at bankrupt price for anything to move now a day especially on AZ (we're a knowledgeable crowd since everyone pretty much know the going prices). The fact that RH value is holding is speaking volume. If I get my 2 new shafts in the summer, I make keep the RH in my collection. It plays great and I don't think will be able to get another like it.

Yes I was trying to deal with Chady on the Harris he has but he is so hard to stay in contact with. I made a couple offers and never heard back from him. I'd probably pay him what he's asking for his harris and tascarella but.....?

Chady is good guy...I've dealt with him in the past and although he's busy I'm sure he'll get back to you. He's very easy to deal and transaction with him was flawless. I'm just hoping to sell a few thing to see if I can get my hand on his RH. It's the nice looking RH I've seem and it would be pretty next to mine. Oh...his tascarella is not bad either...heheh. I'm sure you can swing a deal for both.
