Does anyone have contact information for Richard Kranicki, author of Answer To A Pool Players Prayers? Phone, email, website? His website, www.pooleyes.com seems to have been parker by GoDaddy.com, whatever that means.

I'm on my third reading of his book and there's still a few things I've been glossing over I'd like to ask him about. I'm convince there's more there than initially meets the eye, (Sorry, couldn't help myself). :grin:
 
When looking for an author, the best place to start is by asking their publisher.

I found his book to be insightful, but written in a way that many will not grasp.

Usually good advice. Unfortunately, the publisher is Pool Eyes Publications which appears to be his own entity. The closest I found was www.pooleyes.com, which as I mentioned is a dead link. Supposedly he was or is a contributing editor to Inside Pool Magazine, but my attempts to contact them have gone unanswered.

Hopefully this bump will find someone with some current info that is either willing to pass it along or give Richard my contact info. There's a snail mail address in his book but its over 10 years old at this point. I'll try it as well but I'm not holding my breath.

As far as the book being insightful but hard to grasp I agree. However, I have a specific defect in how my eyes align, (crossed and canted), that I think a clear understanding of his book may help with.

archive.org and whitepages.com are of some help. The first shows that his site began in December 2003 and was abandoned about July 2005 and that his email at that time was poolprayers (at) aol.com

Whitepages is willing to sell you info about a Richard K. who is related to Rita (the author's mother's name) in Philadelphia.

Bebob Publishing is currently selling the spiral-bound version of the book, so you might want to contact Bob Henning. (There was also a paperback version of the book printed in England.)
 
I have a more recent version that was self-published using the 1st books site.

Iam an old friend of Richie..The last time I spoke to him was a few years ago and his # then was...215-334-3556 He lives In South Phila.

Thanks folks, with your help I was able to contact Richard. Unfortunately his advice was for me to seek out a qualified instructor in my area as he does not teach via email. I was only looking for a little clarification on some items in his book. Oh well, that's his perogative. At least I now know this avenue of investigation is a dead end and I can move on. Seems like this is one pool player's prayer that won't get answered. Thanks again, I'll leave some well deserved reputation points for your courteous help.

I just ordered the book today. I agree with Dead Crab...ask the questions. After I read it I may have some questions, too. :wink:
 
This is Rich K author of the Answers to a Poolplayer's Prayers book. I am sorry sorry for the time that you called and it was not to your complete satisfaction. If I may...I get a lot of phone calls and most of them are at an inopportune time.
I am not always able to can not always sit down and spend hours in the day or night on the phone. I do remember your call and you were polite. And, I also, remember that you called while I was enduring some personal issues.
