Hello, I am selling this cue for a friend of mine on the forum. It is a Rick Phillippi Custom Cue in near excellent condition.
Four pointed cue with multi colored veneers. The points are snakewood with floating ivory spears centered in the points. In between the long points are "bullet" snakewood points with ivory designs accented within. The forearm is highly figured birdseye maple with maple/snakewood railroad track patterned designed at the collar. Rick's signature is clearly displayed on the forearm as well.
The butt sleeve is birdseye maple with four reverse staggered points matching closely the design in the forearm. The butt cap is a cream colored material (not ivory) that compliments the maple sleeve.
Two shafts very lightly played and very clean with ivory ferrules.
This Phillippi has an elegant look to it and is an excellent player.
Butt weight - 14.43 oz and rolls straight. The wrap is a brown textured leather that compliments the snakewood throughout the cue.
Shaft size/weight - shaft (1) 12.75 mm at base of ferrule; 3.98 oz. Shaft (2) 12.80 mm at base of ferrule; 4.02 oz. Both shafts have a very, very slight taper roll with both tips remaining on the table.
Pin size - Piloted SS 5/16 14
The asking price of this cue is $1,850.00, however seller is motivated to move this cue...all reasonable offers will be considered!
Any others questions concerning this cue should be directed to the cue's owner. Contact Bob Corcoran at
301 351-5178 as he has the cue in his possession.
Again this is not my cue as I am helping out a friend.
Thanks in advance...
Anthony
