"Right Angle" Pool Table

I saw this table while surfing fleabay and it had me wondering if these were common tables at one time. Anyone know any info on this type of table?

I have seen the right -angle type, a circle type & a zig-zag type. They would all give "your hooked" a different meaning...

Can those people not count? They table says eight pocket and the ad says nine pockets. Those tables have 10 pockets.

i saw a table like this in a bar in alaska once. as curious as i was, i never got around to playing on it though. i was preoccupied with drinking.

One of these Z tables is loose in Oklahoma City somewhere. It's been in at least two locations, but I haven't seen it in a couple of years. It's a novelty at first, but then after a while it's just kind of in the way for people playing pool.
