Billy Sweat passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He had been the APA League Operator in the Augusta, GA/Columbia, SC area for more than 25 years.
I talked with Billy the night before at the APA Masters Division playoffs. He seemed fine and in good spirits. We talked about life, death, friends, and his service in Vietnam. We shared a few jokes.
