Third Taiwanese pool player dead, all age 45 or younger, in past 5 years.
Everything after the first comma in your post is completely classless and does not belong here. This guy was a positive "force" for Taiwan, I wouldn't put it past the ChiComs to arrange for his demise. I wish no ill will on anyone, but crap like this happens. I wasn't familiar with him, but by accounts he was a good guy.
Little Rocket Man in North Korea had his uncle murdered at an airport, and it is on security video.
Iran just put out a $40 million contract on Trump.
Absolute mush-brain drivel that has no place in a thread celebrating the life and accomplishments of one of our sports GOATs. Yeah, that was amazing. Also incredible was the 2019 Bigfoot 10ball final vs Filler. Josh ran out to a 5-0 lead, but JL Chang then produced some of the finest 10ball I have ever seen to pull off the comeback.
Sad to hear.
Was he a smoker?
Wow, that made my cry. Our professional pool community is not very big, and we feel it when we lose one of our own. Nonetheless, the memories of this great champion are for keeps, and we will cling to them.a moment of silence with the other players in the event he was at when he passed (about 8 minutes in):

PT109 hit the nail on the head when he called Chang the "Asian Buddy Hall."I pulled up a video of him last night in remembrance, it was Derby City 2019 and he calmly ran a 4 pack to start. His cueball was exceptional as usual. I think if there was one modern player whom a beginner should model his/her fundamentals after, it was probably his. He had a compact swing but could pull out all the strokes when needed.
He certainly was a great player, however, I don't see any correlation between his and the riflemans style of play or stroke.PT109 hit the nail on the head when he called Chang the "Asian Buddy Hall."
JL Chang had a beautiful stroke and seemed more into the action scene than the tournament scene. In those respects, he was the "Asian Buddy Hall."He certainly was a great player, however, I don't see any correlation between his and the riflemans style of play or stroke.
I likened him to Ralf Souquet. Similar bullet proof vibe.He certainly was a great player, however, I don't see any correlation between his and the riflemans style of play or stroke.
Mark Wilson commentating in 2019:
[Chang Jung Lin] is only 33. He's just now getting set to to enter the prime of his pool playing career. I would say mid 30's to mid 40's, maybe even late 40's.
