RIP CHANG JUNG LIN

Very bummed about this. Dude was a super strong player and a great ambassador for pool. Such great fundamentals and consistency.

This guy was a positive "force" for Taiwan, I wouldn't put it past the ChiComs to arrange for his demise. I wish no ill will on anyone, but crap like this happens. I wasn't familiar with him, but by accounts he was a good guy.

Little Rocket Man in North Korea had his uncle murdered at an airport, and it is on security video.

Iran just put out a $40 million contract on Trump.
Everything after the first comma in your post is completely classless and does not belong here.

Absolute mush-brain drivel that has no place in a thread celebrating the life and accomplishments of one of our sports GOATs. Delete this mods

Looks like my memory failed me. Josh led 4-0, not 5-0, before Chang found that gear, It was one of the more memorable big foot finals, a nice sampling of Chang's amazing skills.

I pulled up a video of him last night in remembrance, it was Derby City 2019 and he calmly ran a 4 pack to start. His cueball was exceptional as usual. I think if there was one modern player whom a beginner should model his/her fundamentals after, it was probably his. He had a compact swing but could pull out all the strokes when needed.

PT109 hit the nail on the head when he called Chang the "Asian Buddy Hall."

Mark Wilson commentating in 2019:

[Chang Jung Lin] is only 33. He's just now getting set to to enter the prime of his pool playing career. I would say mid 30's to mid 40's, maybe even late 40's.
