hi guys!

i have some few spoken for envelope cases but was never sold and are all still available for the taking. its all brand new and is just hanging around the house for sometime now. i wont be making more until these guys are gone, i cant work when there's to many of them here. i dont want to sell anymore to my contact who resides in japan since he has been selling them there way to expensive and lots of clients contact me directly and i cant lie about my real price, with all the work in the shop i dont have the time to check out each client if he or she is from that country or if he has already dealt with my contact.
anyways these cases was paid for with a post dated check and i didnt ship it before the check matured and that was good idea on my part since the checked never came thru come the day it should and never heard from the guy again. i thought he was really interested since he was mailing me like everyday. and i have friends also here at AZ who were inquiring and to my friends i like you to know the cases are still here.
i consider the cases owned even if it did not leave my shop due to the time it was finished, dated and signed, and has passed for a month or two as of this month, on my part i will put it on sale. contact me at richdomino@yahoo.com if anyone is interested they are all tooled front and back with carrying straps and have the 2x2 internal configuration which is convertible, thats the beauty of an envelope case very flexible. last time i checked the weights of each case i have been consistent on getting each case to weigh around 18 to 19 ounce only with the straps and without anything inside it. very lite weight! thanks!---ritch

Ritch,

The best thing you can do is to quote YOUR price as if you were selling to any customer who walked in your door. If the seller in Japan can make more money by inflating the price then that's his business and not your problem. As long as you don't undersell your dealers on the price that they buy from you then you are doing the right thing by quoting your prices.

All dealers know that IF they inflate the price then it just makes it easier for people to come in under their price. So they plan on it happening eventually when the consumers get wise to where the products are coming from and find other suppliers.

My Instroke cases were selling for double the US retail in Japan at one time. My prices were always published on our website so anyone could see the suggested retail in the USA. Still the Japanese dealers were able to charge so much because they bought Limited Editions mostly and because they had the product on hand.

However when Japanese players would come to the US Open they would buy a lot of cases right off the wall, no haggling, because the price was half of what it was in Japan.

So your dealer is doing you a favor by pricing the cases so high. He is making your product desirable at a higher price which then makes your normal price a really good bargain.

Nice cases.

thanks JB
