Tevez over Biado 11-4! 4th place for Biado.
The main TV table, the hotseat match, was Atencio over Hohmann 11-8 in a match with quite a few mistakes by both players. Hohmann didn't seem to jump up much, something he has been prone to do for quite a few years now, yet he still missed some pretty easy shots (as did Atencio).
So now it will be Tevez vs. Hohmann; loser 3rd, winner plays Atencio for the title.

11-6 Tevez over Hohmann. Hohmann won the first 3 games, then missed a shot in Game 4. Tevez ran out that game, followed by a 4-pack and 2 more games for 7 in a row and a 7-3 lead. Hohmann won the next 3 to get close, but Tevez took the last 4.
So the Final will be Tevez vs. Atencio.

Atencio takes it 13-9 in the first set of what could have been a 2-set final. Tevez led 2-1 but missed a ball in Game 4. Atencio ran out, followed by a 4-pack and 2 more games for 7 games in a row, taking it to 8-2. But Tevez came back, winning 7 of the next 8 games to bring it to 9-9. Then he missed the 4-ball in Game 19 and Atencio ran out the match.
The stream was up and down quite a few times today. I don't know whether that was because of problems the Billiard Sports Network was having or wnttv, but I hope it doesn't continue in future wnttv streams. It happened in at least 5 different games in the final match.
Tevez lost the final, but I think we will be seeing quite a bit from him in the future.

both looked solid, nice to see atencio win one. turns out "the 3 x 800" weren't stealing..
