Yes, you may have to download the Kindle for Android or Kindle for apple app, phone or tablet you can read on it fine.

I ordered it on kindle but haven’t checked the download or opened the book yet. Looked like a normal kindle order tho

I always pass on the Kindle and get any paper copy they offer. Why can't they provide a PC compatible app?

Technically, they have an app (Kindle for PC) but it will no longer be supported after June 30th. The alternative is read.amazon.com, it's their web based reader. I've used it a few times and it seems to work ok.
