Road Runner Book Artie Clemens

I always pass on the Kindle and get any paper copy they offer. Why can't they provide a PC compatible app?

Technically, they have an app (Kindle for PC) but it will no longer be supported after June 30th. The alternative is read.amazon.com, it's their web based reader. I've used it a few times and it seems to work ok.

For anyone who might have the same issue (this was my 3rd kindle download ever on my android phones) I had to uninstall the app and reinstall to view the book but at least it's there now.

Look into using Calibre and plugins. I have Calibre for a bunch of other ebooks that I have but have never tried doing this so not sure what the success rate is but a quick google search should get you going.

"can i download my kindle books to my computer for calibre" are the search terms I used.

Couple things, they never give you the file and you need Prime forever (I think).

Correct, that's what the plugins are for. Apparently, if you have an actual kindle it's not that hard. Download Calibre, download a plugin called DeDRM, plugin your kindle and you can transfer them to Calibre. I'm not going post all of the instructions but again, use my search term above and see what you find. And as mentioned, I have not done this specifically so can't confirm, but I would venture to say it works.

As far as Prime goes, I don't know. I only have a few books on Amazon and honestly, I haven't even looked at it for a few years until this post. But, I don't have prime and they still work.

Interesting read. I'm about half way through it I think. Knew him as AJ in K-town from only him playing in some 8 ball bar tournaments and I'd play him a $5 game 1 handed vs 2 handed once in a while when I guess he was out earning his keep. The rest of the story was more than I imagined.

It slipped under my radar.

First night I read 50 pages and realized I knew a lot of people in the stories. They are all very short, not written by a professional, but fun to read. Wish it was a physical book though.
