i was watching Robb Saez play Charlie Bryant on tv today and i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of cue he playes with. that thing looks sharp. one of the announcers also mentioned Charlie Bryant was writing a book, anyone heard anything about that? Thanks

i think it was an eight pointer. i'd have to check again, i got the match recorded on my dvr. small diamonds in the rear i think

It's a Gilbert

Definately a Gilbert. I was there when he hit with in NYC a few years back and said he was going to buy it.

6 point gilbert.
mop inlays in butt and points.
red and blue veneers if i remember right.
delrin butt.

gilbert

I highly recommend the Gilbert. The balance and the hit of the cue is just amazing.

As I have posted before, Gilbert cues play great and Andy is a first class cue maker and a gentleman. Just a good ole boy from Southern Missouri.

Best bang for your cheese right now, in my opinion, is a Gilbert. He once told me the taper on his j/b was about 95% the same as his standard shaft. The points on my j/b are razor sharp, it hits great after installing a Moori, and is my usual player in the bars. I play a Searing otherwise.

As I write this, I am thinking I may have to get a Gilbert with an ivory half joint. Saw Rob's cue from 5 feet away at DCC and it definitely was one of a kind.

yeah man i can' t lie i love the casino. LET IT RIDE!!!

i now play with one of andy's j/bs and it plays great, buet i had a gilbert 4 point 5 veneer cue with the half ivory joint before(6 months ago) and it played better than any cue ive ever played with. sold it to a guy who has about 150 cues, mostly high end, and thought he would give me a chance to buy it back if i offered him a profit, but i thought wrong. said he was putting all his cues up for his childrens future. point of this being i think andys ivory half joint 3/8s 10 pin play a little better than other joints, pin, combos etc... in my opinion.
