Robinson

I have shot with an ebony nosed Robinson before and it sure moves the ball. There are great cues. I have not seen a plain jane Robinson, but someone will be very happy. Good luck with the sale.

Wow, this cue looks really familiar. Metal pin on the shaft? I've only seen this once before on a cue my grandfather gave me, and I never knew who the maker was for that cue. Any other makers do that?

4.3 oz shaft! What a monster! Good luck with the sale Vass.

from Robinson's website....

"The screw which goes 2" into the shaft is further strengthened with a stainless steel faceplate also adding to the stability. Because of the joint design, all Robinson shafts are interchangeable, so there's no need to send your whole cue in if you need to order a new shaft. Robinson can also make replacement shafts for most any other brand of cue as well."

I had a Burton Spain cue that had brass screws in the shafts...

Best playing cue I have ever owned...

Stupid, stupid, stupid to trade it away...

Thats what my cue had too, brass pins.

Recall that the "deano" cue, Kilby, etc. cues all have the pin in the shaft. They all hit pretty well. Robinson combines an .820 shaft diameter shaft (like a meucci) with the metal joint, resulting in a super strong joint that moves the ball around pretty well.
