Is there anyone in the Rockford, IL area that makes cues or does repairs?

There's the Carom Room in Beloit, WI. I had a tip put on there. Not sure what else they do, but if they don't do what you need, they would know who does. It's just over the border (three or four blocks).

You might want to check out their tournament info as well. Last time I was at the Thursday night 9-ball they had 64 players.

Chris is WAY south. Dave Coles at the Carom Room does great work, and if he can't do what you're looking for, will know someone locally who can. Chris is the man (I shoot with his cues), but you'd have to mail the cue out, which sounds like something you don't want to do.
