Yes CW did it back then. It was called the Border Battle - USA versus Canada. But essentially it was New York against Toronto.
I was in New York around about that time and it may have been the last time we saw each other and our mutual buddy Jason.

Our friend is now a Vegas resident and a married man. With the BCA switch to July. I'm not likely to see him anytime soon. I dont tolerate the heat well. Last time i was in Vegas in MAY, i tried to walk from Treasure Island to The Riviera-. Midway i was in tattered clothing stumbling around, near death and about to drink my own urine when i lucked a head first fall against a taxi. July-no way
