You are mistaken. This is not a bumperless hoppe. I can see a rubber bumper in two of your photos.
 
As per the description, it is a removable plug. It is actually a 7/32" thick phenolic bumper made to go over and attach to the polished and engraved weight bolt. It is easily removed with a 9/64 allen wrench. The weight bolt is engraved 20 - HALEY - 10 and 173

I ALSO REALLY LIKE THE LOOKS OF THIS UNUSUALLY PRETTY CUE

I KEEP COMING BACK TO LOOK,I GUESS I HOPE SOMEONE BUYS IT BEFORE I
DECIDE I NEED A NEW CUE THAT MY WIFE WILL POINT OUT THAT I DON'T REALLY NEED
