All I have to say is that Ron Thomas is one of the nicest guys ever...I was considering a used case on the secondary market and he went out of his way to help me with it, describe his construction, etc. Though I could not afford the case at the time...he actually gave me a call back again to see what I decided!!! Very nice guy and makes a heck of a case to boot! I am particular to the george style cases and he is the only one that makes them in America right now!!! So buy a Ron Thomas case!!!
 
I agree Ron is the best!!!! last year at the us open i bought all his cases towards the end of the show many of which i sold on here he is a true gentleman that makes a super product!!!!!!!!!

I met Ron this year at the Valley Forge Expo. What a gentleman. Very well mannered and personable. He went out of his way to help me become the owner of one of his cases. The deal he gave me was ridiculous to say the least. I sold the case, and have mourned that fact ever since. I just spoke with Ron yesterday...and he's going to make me another case just like it. I'm so grateful. A fine example of humanity.
 
i have one of his cases and its elephant, the seams are perfect the grain lines up right, its a bit stiff to open-dosent have a latch its just held by pressure/vacuum, it wont eveo open up accidentally but its still a but to firm, but i'm not ging to change it, I use the case alot, i Keep a Gus in it I loan to friends who come over to play, my cases in my vault are along way from my pool room so my cases get used at home as well as when i go some where, he Thomas case is awalys used,

Its a great case for sure and i will have it for years, I have a 2X1 Geroge case for 23 years that still looks new. I take care of my stuff and a elephant case will never wear out. thx ron
 
does anyone know if u can just add an accessory cup to an existing case or does it have to be built to accomodate the cup during construction?
 
The case need to have an enlongated cap in order to accommodate the accessory cup. Some are made long enough where you can add one, most are not. Some cases are ordered long to begin with to accommodate a longer cue and didn't originally come with an accessory cup, but could be added. It depends on the case.
