This is not to knock these performances. The Rocket is the best billiard player in history.
However, it’s a lot easier to make 147 in a fun game than in a professional tournament. In a fun game O’Sullivan will try for shots that he wouldn’t risk against other pro players. There’s a few times early on he would have come back to Centre table for 5 points on the blue instead of going for the black. Also his opponent wouldn't have left him the opportunity with that cue ball position when Ronnie came to be table.
In a tournament of over 220 games of the top 128 players in the world, the odds of even one 147 are slim. Even Ronnie has only made a dozen or so 147s in thousands of pro games.
My own best scores have always been against newbies when I know that I will win and I can take a greater risk for the challenge of a higher clearance. Not that I have ever made a 147 even when playing alone on my own table….maybe one day.
