ronnie o makes another 147 with michaela, january 2022

oh yeah right?

and i like the bad camera work
and screaming people watching history

here’s another

With him it’s not even news anymore.

Nobody ever hit the ball straight as he dose.

He makes the 12’ box look like a barbox. All the time. It’s beyond anyone who ever played snooker. Nobody’s a close 2nd to him.

Cheers,
Fatboy

My thoughts exactly! He makes that 12’ table with tiny pockets look like a home table with 6” pockets. So many of those shots had no margin for error, but he just stands and delivers every time.

Isn’t it amazing, it amazes me every time I watch him. I watched all the century breaks from 910-1020 on YouTube until they took that channel down.

I’m glad to see him have a long career, which makes it even more amazing.

Has he ever played straight pool? I bet with a little practice, he could run quite a few balls.
I’ve thought about this as well. He wouldn’t have the black and pink reappearing in perfect positions to work the stack but I think he would smoke some racks of 14.1 on a standard GC if he put a little time into it.

I remember him playing Jeanette Lee some 14.1 on a show. I feel like it was a pretty close match that she won.

This is not to knock these performances. The Rocket is the best billiard player in history.

However, it’s a lot easier to make 147 in a fun game than in a professional tournament. In a fun game O’Sullivan will try for shots that he wouldn’t risk against other pro players. There’s a few times early on he would have come back to Centre table for 5 points on the blue instead of going for the black. Also his opponent wouldn't have left him the opportunity with that cue ball position when Ronnie came to be table.

In a tournament of over 220 games of the top 128 players in the world, the odds of even one 147 are slim. Even Ronnie has only made a dozen or so 147s in thousands of pro games.

My own best scores have always been against newbies when I know that I will win and I can take a greater risk for the challenge of a higher clearance. Not that I have ever made a 147 even when playing alone on my own table….maybe one day.

follow o’sullivan’s career and you
see that he has no interest in
learning another cue sport game

he’s the same age as tom brady
and like the nfl qb

has won everything and
is a superstar wherever he goes
and retirement is the only job he
has left to do
