Hi, Does anyone have any info on Ronnie O Sullivan snooker cues?
Do they play well etc
Thanks Neil

Rubbish chinese mass produced cues made with the bce / riley badge. Painted splices some with plastic marbalised front splice and lacured with toffee.

Great for tomatoe plants.

Thanks Wity for that.

have to agree with wity....i don't have anything against production cues, but these bce/riley cues are god awful. the lacquer finish on the shaft is probably the worst trait. ronnie wouldn't be caught dead playing with one of these. i know he has played with parris and hunt & osborne in the past, not sure what he's using now.

Pro snooker players will endorse anything for a few quid. Hendry's the exception methinks he plays with crap cues and endorses nothing.

Trying to think of some other uses...

If you sand em down nice n smooth so that they are barable to hold they are quite good for shutting the curtains with.

Bit big for stirring paint unless you cut em down.

turning the light switch on without getting off the setee.

Chopsticks for a 30 foot bloke.

Goalposts for when your playing footy in the park and dont want to take your top off.

As a lance for the nippers with a rocking horse.

Any other suggestions?

if you have access to a lathe do what i did. Buy 3, turn the tip size down, burn off all the paint with a blow torch then sand and finish with a cue wax. you now have 3 cues that you can leave in different pubs and if they get nicked then who cares.

great for a decent game if you dont want to take your cue out on a friday night. Much, MUCH better than the garbage found in the racks.

it took me about 1hr per cue from start to finish.

otherwise, i'd try one of wity's suggestions.
