best off all time imo, ido think its worth noting however that most if not all Ronnie's career records were or will be set within a timeframe considerably longer than Hendry

Ronnie turns up at the UK Championships with strapping to help support a broken ankle and a few pairs of odd looking shoes to boot . Shirt tail flapping about at times , knocks in a 147 and goes on to take the title .

Yeah , that's a new look alright . :wink::grin::thumbup:

Chalked up @ 5/2 fav by the bookies and odds on across the boards before the last 16 but what do the pesky bookies know ? I didn't think Ronnie could do it with the broken ankle ! :wink:

I watched some of the Saturday Kitchen Live programme this morning and Ronnie gets asked about titles and records set and to aim for etc .

Ronnie said he used to set Hendry's targets to aim for and is 5 behind for the century breaks record but now he's looking beyond that target and is aiming for 1,000 century breaks and it might take him three seasons or so and he'd have to enter more events to do it but he's enjoying Snooker right now . Made his first century aged 10 and was beating pro players at 14 or so and never wanted to do anything else but play Snooker and he'd like to win 8 World Snooker titles .

As they went about cooking , serving and eating I never doubted any of it but the proof in the pudding is in the eating so we will soon find out , just a matter of time before the records go.....:wink::smile::cool::grin:

In the German Masters preamble on Eurosport 2, Ronnie was asked about records.
Said he would like to make 20 maximums. :D
