Charlie Bryant uses one on both his playing and breaking cue.
I am thinking about offering the rubber grip as an option on the X breaker, what do you think?
Thank you.

A common problem for 3-C players is that if they have a rubber grip, the butt will not fit in a standard tube-type case. Or if it does go in, it will not come out.nipponbilliards said:... I am thinking about offering the rubber grip as an option on the X breaker, what do you think? ...

Um, it is often a real struggle to get the sleeve-type rubber wrap on in the first place. They do not slide on, they roll on. I think repeated rolling/unrolling will cause tears.nipponbilliards said:Well, how about having the grip put on before a match and then taken off after. Will that be too inconvenient?...

A lot of players don't want to be at the table very long after they lose a match. I've noticed, they often make a rushed exit. I wouldn't mind trying one. It would have to make a huge difference, to be worth the hassle though.Bob Jewett said:Um, it is often a real struggle to get the sleeve-type rubber wrap on in the first place. Just get a side-load case instead of an end-load. Longoni makes a nice one.RSB-Refugee said:A lot of players don't want to be at the table very long after they lose a match.
