Rubber wrap for break cues

Does anyone install a rubber wrap on break cues? I have a break cue with a stacked leather wrap and it just doesn't get tacky enough to get a grip. It's too slick and it was a poor decision on my part to have it installed on a break cue.

Not the answer your looking for but a little bees wax on a stack wrap gives you excellent grip and feel. I understand if you don't like it but it helps on the cue I have that I wrapped with stack years ago.
On another tack , I've recently made a break cue with a carbon fiber butt . It's a little slippery too so I've ordered a couple of rubber wraps off Ebay to try out which claim to be "heat shrink wrap" similar to what is used on electrical wiring joints to seal, the idea is basically put the wrap on then use a paint stripping heat gun or similar to apply heat and shrink the wrap firmly stuck in place.
