Did you all catch the front page? Our AZ brethren had a bit of a battle...if you can call it that(!!).
Randy Pelton raced to an 8-3 lead over stop one winner Jimmy Mendoza. Unfortunately for Pelton, he would not be able to get over the hill as Mendoza won the next six games to pull out the win. Mendoza would fall in his next match though, as John Morton snapped four 10-balls in five games for the match win.

and come back to the tournament and I lose my next match. He however, won his match because the guy he played had also went with us to StarBucks. See, Jimmy's slick like that. And he's used to playing all wired up on that Legal Speed. Not me though. So, back to my point, when I realized that Jimmy had pulled a slick one on me, I had no choice but to punish him for his actions. All that StarBucks mixer stuff had gone to the right place by the time he and I played our match and I'm tellin' ya, that 10 Ball was flying in the corner pocket. I swear he was putting the 10 on the outside of the rack.
Yeah, Jimmy felt bad for doing that to me so he let me win. He knows he's the lock to win the points championship even though there's been only 2 tournaments. Jimmy plays on a whole different level than the rest of us Arizonians. You should see his table at home! 2" pockets! He flys the OB into the holes. Oh well, that's all I got to say on this. No more StarBucks for me either, I caught 3 dirty U.A.'s when I got home from that trip.
