If you don't think.....

The most under rated player from the Philipines. He has been coming over here and winning for years. Has had problems in final matches and has many runner up finishes. But he has been a consistent top ten player for many years now. Last year he was second at Derby City and the Open.

He did win one big tournament I put on ten years ago. It was in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. We had a big field of 273 players, with many big names. Rudy fought his way to the finals where he played young Alex P. And he took it down for $12,500. He played great all the way.

Soft spoken, Luat let's his cue to the talking for him.

You don't think that sidearm little fella can play, try matching up with him and see for yourself. I thought that unorthodox style couldn't get him there either. Let's just say that I was wrong.

prior to the so called " filipino invasion" in the u.s.,,,most filipino cueist never get down to their shot..like you see today on most filipinos....or most pro pool plyers...they really adjusted their stance like the way they've seen us pro players....

....that's just the way it is in the phil.,,,,you are right though that luat's is similar to that of keith's- although keith does not have the wavy stroke efren,busty and luat has.....

...luat is i think the only one that did not adjust his style...

Wasnt that Ralph? Or was it 2 championships that year, like an "american worlds"?

Anyway, I met with him at the WPA-Worlds a couple of years ago. Great guy, very likeble and I love his stroke. Like a simplified Mosconi only longer, kinda.

He won CAMEL OPEN WORLD 9-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP in 1996, and Efren won a championship of almost the same name on the same year, CAMEL WORLD 9-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Confused yet.
