Rules Question - OK to combo balls in final 5?

Quick question - When playing the final 5 in rotation is it OK to combo, carom or billiard another ball in as long as you hit the lowest ball first? (I.E. Like 9 ball rules) or do the balls actually have to be made in order as well as hit in order? (The rules listed only specify what happens if you make the 6th and 5the balls on the same stroke.)

Had a quick practice session last night, a few 20's and a few 1's. (Although part of this was because I'd forgotten about the option to drop a point and reposition the cue ball after the break) Will try to get started on full sessions tonight.

Combos and billiards are fine, just remember this is call shot, so if you make a combo or a billiard that you never intended to the shot doesn't count and the rack is over.

I'm fairly certain the last 5 have to go down in order, period.

You canNOT combo the last five balls. Exception is if you hit the sixth to last ball in the hole and you happen to also combo one of the last five on that same shot, then that is OK. But you can't do combos; you must hit each of the last five balls into its pocket in order. This makes it harder....bummer!

Well OK then. Frankly I don't think it's going to help my scores, which have been pretty pitiful so far (Averaging 8 balls a rack )

Will get a full session finished and post them so you can all point and laugh. I guess if I can't be a great player at least I can be a source of amusement!

If that happens though, you only get 1 point for each ball. Thus the max possible would be 19 under those circumstances.
