Run This (40)

I think there's a lot to be said for starting with the 7-14, then moving to the 8/9-3-9/8. Note that it's best to shoot the 3 second in this group, so you can end with either the 8 or the 9, to then move easily to the 5. (Yes, you can get on the 5 from the 3 but it's not quite as natural...). Should be fairly routine to then, from the 5, get on the 11 with a perfect angle on the 13.

Sorry - don't have time to draw it out right now :).

The only reason I don't like starting with the 3 is that, in looking at the table, I don't agree with the earlier poster that you can hold position so easily for the 8. Therefore, there's no natural path once you make the 3 except for between the 7/13 (which, yes, is totally possible, but if you just slightly dog it you butcher the whole position).

I like starting out with Steve's suggestion also. Not sure if the rest of our patterns would be the same, but here's the first one that comes to my mind.

Hey Mr. M! That's exactly the same! :p

The only shot that causes me any concern is that 11 in the side. Not sure if it's the safest play but you could shoot it in the upper corner too. On a table with forgiving pockets I don't mind shooting balls to the upper corners.

CueTable Help

I might try 7-14-8-3-9-5-11 because the way I see it the 14 is actually a ball out on it's own with no great link to get rid of it. I like the 5 to set up the key ball 11 for getting on the breaker.

I was going to post what I would do, but tsw_521 posted it for me.

I'd also love to have greenkill's magic cue ball with the gold plated brake pedal.

:killingme:

No offense, green kill - just messing with you - also giving you some good rep !!!

Hah, glad to have some backup. Greenkill's awesome drag shot had me a little worried too, but otherwise it's a nice pattern.

I also like Steve/JimmyM's pattern. That one didn't occur to me at first.

I'd say, "great minds think alike", but I'm not sure you'd want your mind compared to mine. I know I wouldn't! :D
