Good pattern, I did consider using the 8 in the side, yet I think I prefer using the nine ending with 6-3-11 and gaining a slight cut angle to the nine resulting in good CB speed to the rack. Neither the 8 nor the 9 is ideal.

I don't like the 8 as the key ball. If you are going to get to the lower left area for the 7, you have to have a pretty good angle on the 8 to the lower left pocket. The 12 and 2 give you an opportunity to get there, but it requires some precision. To break with the 8, I would also look at 9, 8-in-the-side and go one or two cushions to get on the 7.Tiger91 said:Doesn't anybody like that bottom-of-the-rack break shot.
