I have been practicing this layout for 3 nights.Runout in # order. 4 has to be shot in the corner closest to it. No banks and don't run into any balls. Playing on a shimmed up 9' diamond with older cloth. It has been brutal for me but I have got real good at skimming that 3 ball down the rail.

Ist impression, one in the side, draw a touch for 2 or 3 rails; two to the three. I don't have issues with rail shots unless the table is a bitch so what's next is landing dependent. Probably a little forward if convenient. Same thing with five to six.

The 4 to the 5 is the key shot. Have to decide to get straight on the 4 and draw straight back, or get an angle and draw back twice across. The 6 is a big ball in that case. But getting straight is also not easy.

One caveat which made this hard is the 4 has to be shot in the corner furthest from the 5.

Your condition? In that case I landed perfect on the 3 to get past the side with just a touch of forward. Three rails off the 2 should do that.
If I went three rails off the 2 I ended up too flat on the 3 to get on the right side of the 4. This table won't take firing the 3 in and drawing out 2 rails for the 4.( At least for me)

This was set up to force me to really bear down on getting good position on the 3 to get on the 4. I wanted to get on the 4 to draw 2 rails across and back to be close to the 5. Just a couple shots I have trouble with.

Depends on the shape for red ball, might go behind the 4, to shoot for the long corner and forward to the 5 on the rail?

Maybe go for straighter on the 2 and/or adjust the spin?

Missed it, 4 in the opposite of 5.
Then i would stay a bit high on 2, go 3 rails inside on the 3, top it from the rail behind 4, screw back to five, with a pass in the six.

If your table.is slow, you need more angle i would think.
Go low on 2 and 1rail pass to 3, to miss the middle pocket, i would add a touch of top spin.

Its not so easy as it looks, i tried like this: 1 right, whitey rolls just past the 5 for low position on 2, goes in the same pocket, going on 3ball. I missed the position like half of the times, getting in position for 4ball from back rail, five to six from backrail, six out.
Made it 2 times in 50 tries.
Most of the runs ended when being straight/low angle or too much angle on 3 ball

I was thinking something like that. If instead of going two or more off the 2, you could get a little above it and draw or go one rail, aiming for diamond 2.5 ish and get a nice zig zag from the 3 to the 4.

Looks fairly easy
The key is getting the right position on the two, staying parallel to the the 2 ball.
So I would use top spin on the 1ball coming back from the rail and keep it the cb parallel to the 2ball.
Then bottom right on the 2, sending the cb 2-3 rails to the 3 ball
Then depends on the cb position, either top or with a touch of left to get on the 4, from there on it’s just rolling the balls in with top spin (with some outside spin if needed depending on cb position) to get to next balls.
trying to get fancy here will make it harder.

Again, very easy from the couch and you need to know the table speed and cushions reaction well to run out without missing cb position

Is there a reason you've chosen one pocket only for the 4-ball? It would be a breeze to go to the opposite pocket and roll up for the 5 with a follow stroke.

How can you change the layout of the balls on the chalkystick app? Can you lay the balls out any way you would like? Is there an app that allows you to do this?

This is designed to improve my pocketing and speed when pocketing the 3. It is a 1/4" off the rail and needs to be pocketed smoothly or it will rattle. To have to play the 4 to that 1 pocket adds purpose to the pocketing of the 3.

I play more 1 pocket then anything and I set this up to play 2 balls per pocket- 1+2 same corner-3+4 same corner-5+6 same corner. All while working on table length position play and the draw across and back on the 4. Which is the position I want on the 4. Drawing back is simple and I shoot the three rails with top well so the draw across and back needs work.

Play low on the 2 ball so the cueball goes to the upper longrail, Z to the lower long rail and play speed to come off that rail a foot or so. Don't get straight in. You will have an angle to play above or below the 4.

Going at the 2 and hitting the end rail to come straight down is fraught with peril...you are crossing position line for the 3. You will end up short, with a very tough 3 ball and a hot cueball OR you will end up straight in on the opposite end rail.
