Runde Schon?

New member to the forums. Been following the posts for some time.

Used to own a Pechauer. Shaft seemed a little too flexible. Now I have this Schon cue that I believe to be a Runde stick, an R6, from the 80s. But I am not certain. Would someone be able to identify this Schon accurately?

I am far from a Schon expert, but those CNC points are later, but I don't know a date.

I do believe there were CNC points before Runde left, and also sharp points after he left. In other words, you can't tell by that as there was not a correlation.

Some will say that CNC points must be after Runde, but AFAIK that is not strictly true.

So I guess I didn't really answer. :frown:

I've seen cues like this made after the R series. It's a very similar design. If you look on the Palmer cue collectors site it looks very much like a SL4 with out the nickel rings. It is hard to prove if its a "Runde" and I'm not sure if u ever can. IMO I'd say its later than Bob's work but a very nice Schindler either way. Nice Schon.I'd date it more mid 90's as well.
