Russian Magic Chalk goes NUCLEAR

You're going to love Budapest, RJ.
A niece of mine stayed there for a while on an art grant...
...she said it was like living in history.

I prefer our blue Magic chalk....
...but leave up to you to find a new way of giving AZers greenies....:)

I use Russian Magic chalk and I like it, however it is pretty clear that it is produced in China :-)

Yeah, i've heard that before. It sure would be a lot less expensive to make it there. But, if you want to wager on that, I'll take that action for any price you want. But anything less than $10K is wasting my time, so lets got big or go home ;)

Chernobyl is in Ukraine.

Yes, correct, but at the time of the disaster, the Ukraine was part of the USSR. And the USSR and "Russia" were completing interchangeable terms during the Cold War.

Thus, in my book, close enough ;) Plus, it appears that Putin is trying pretty hard to take the Ukraine back !!! LOL

The Magic Number is how may times Earl Strickland or SVB won the US Open.

The answer is 5, so numbers 5 through 16 WIN.

So, if you are 5 thru 16, send your name and address to;

MagicChalkUSA@yahoo.com

"include your AZ name as well on the email so I know it's you" :)

Just look at the box. It says "Made in Russia" and then "Сделанная Россия", which means something like "Russia is made". I guess Google Translate isn't perfect yet, so whoever makes it screwed up with translation :-)

Never said where the packaging was made, now did I ? They were going to fix, but never bothered.

I"m gonna redesign the box at end of year, we will make perfect, so it's strong like bull ;)

Sounds good, and again - it's a great chalk. "Made in Russia" would be "Сделанно в России" by the way.

CHERNOBYL GREEN - For you Snooker Players and folks with Green cloth.

OK, I could not think of anything "green" with Russia except this, and it's either really funny or really dumb ?? Either way, folks won't forget it (hopefully)

Plan to visit some of my wife's relatives in Budapest next summer, and there is a train ride that goes from Budapest to Moscow (my son wants to go to Russia) and the train has a stop point at Chernobyl (tourist attraction), so I'll bring some chalk with and rub it on the actual contaminated soil, and see how my game fairs afterwards ;)

But, since this is NOT the for sale threads, it's the MF and thus I need to do a giveaway. I've been shooting with it exclusively for the past week. I can't tell the diff from blue, but since I have olive green Simonis on my table at home, I kind of like the green better for me :)

So, if you want a cube of the GREEN stuff, just post that you want to try it. I will send to 12 posters. But it will be a pool reference number, and the poster who posts on that number and the 11 folks that follow will get a FREE cube of Chernobyl Green chalk.

I will announce the winners tonight.

A train ride from Budapest to Moscow sounds like a really great and interesting experience. I imagine you will have a great time.

I'd like to try it if possible. I work at a nuclear power plant and using this chalk seems very fitting.
