That works. If you like, feel free to snip everything but the link part.

The problem with vBulletin is that one can't simply copy/paste links from other posts by copy/pasting the link text itself. vBulletin likes to truncate the visual appearance of links in posts by removing some characters and inserting "..." in their place. If one copy/pastes that text itself, they get the truncated link (the one with "..." in the URL), not the true underlying link.

Anyway, all's good now! Thanks for the corrections.
