Tonight for the first time I broke 30. 33 actually. I had two break shots in the run. I made the third break shot but it was far from ideal and I ended up froze to the right side of the stack. This makes today a happy day. The down side is I was playing alone. So, like the single that makes a hole in one, none of my mentors/peers got to see it.

I know thirty is not that great of a number but it at least tells me that I have the tools I need to stretch a run out. It is a big milestone for me.

Thanks Jeff. I've brought my game up several steps very quickly and I owe it to several things. Reading books, watching all the recent videos from DCC and the training video of Danny D. as well as pouring over your "run this" threads. This run belongs as much to the members of this site as it does to me. Thanks to everyone for the help.

I'm glad the layouts help you. They help me a lot too. I'm seeing things I never would have without the cuetable in my life. Thanks to Wei for making it all possible.
 
Congrats on the 30+ run, man. Feels really good to pass a mark like that. I'm with you a billion percent on how things have improved since being on here and picking up all the great tips.

One thing I'd like to say, I know Bluepper was getting a little burned out about a month or so ago and had considered not doing the "Run This" series for awhile. I would like to thank him for keeping up with it. I know he said that anyone can put one up, and I've had a few ideas, but personally, I like it when someone has their own thing and the "Run This" series is Bluepepper's and I'd like it to stay that way. I think it's important for us to recognize him for doing this.

Thanks Mully. I appreciate it. I was definitely a little burned out, and nonpool things weren't going too well for me. I'm back though. I'm playing well with my new cue and things are falling into place and balls are falling into pockets.

BTW, if you don't want to post any "Run This" layouts but have ideas, please pm me and I'll post them. That goes for anyone.

Your run is kind of like mine... no peers to share it with. 30 is definately a good milestone.
Just stay focused and the dead stroke will stay longer (so they tell me)

I definately owe my higher runs to this board and more specifically the Run This threads.

Congratulations, a 2 breakshot run is great. I'm sure 50 is right around the corner. Keep it up...

33 is GREAT!!! its 4 times beterthan my high run of 8, I cant play 14.1 at all. There is nothing wrong with comming online and bragging about your accomplishment, Good for you-keep up the good work you'll get to 50 sooner than later. There are alot of great guys here who will help you, infact more so than any other forum on AZ. I'm a good player but I just cant play 14.1 so my best is 8 as I remember(i'm serious).
